Peer Review Process
Review Process
Artificial Intelligence in Molecular Physics (AIMP) follows a rigorous, transparent, and ethical peer review process to ensure the publication of high-quality scholarly research in artificial intelligence, molecular physics, computational science, quantum systems, molecular modeling, and related interdisciplinary scientific disciplines.
The journal is committed to maintaining academic integrity, fairness, confidentiality, and scientific rigor throughout the peer review cycle and follows internationally recognized publication ethics standards and recommendations.
1. Initial Submission Screening
Upon submission, manuscripts undergo an initial editorial assessment conducted by the Editor-in-Chief or assigned handling editor.
During this stage, manuscripts are evaluated for:
- Relevance to the journal aims and scope
- Compliance with author guidelines
- Scientific quality and clarity
- Plagiarism and similarity screening
- Ethical compliance and research integrity
Manuscripts that fail to meet these requirements may be rejected without external peer review.
2. Double-Blind Peer Review
AIMP follows a strict double-blind peer review model to ensure fairness, objectivity, and academic integrity. Under this process, author identities remain concealed from reviewers and reviewer identities remain concealed from authors.
Each manuscript is evaluated independently by at least two qualified subject experts who provide objective and evidence-based feedback with structured recommendations.
3. Reviewer Recommendations
- Accept
- Minor Revision
- Major Revision
- Reject
Recommendations should be supported by detailed reviewer comments and scientific justification.
4. Revision Stage
Authors receiving revision requests should submit a revised manuscript together with a detailed response explaining how reviewer comments were addressed.
Revised manuscripts may be returned to original reviewers for additional evaluation.
5. Final Decision
Final decisions regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection are made by the Editor-in-Chief based on reviewer reports, editorial assessment, and scientific merit.

- Formatting and production processing
- Author proof approval
- Publication in scheduled journal issue
